In Vaastu it is important to understand the influences of the immediate
area where you live Some of the principles are intuitively obvious.
For example a graveyard may be an unwanted energetic influence
as well as a factory, bar, tannery etc. Even though you may find
a graveyard peaceful the subtle influence associated with death
is much different from the influence of a mountain meadow. We should
seek to place ourselves in an environment that is healthy and healing
at all levels.
In
a proper Vaastu space the human physiology relaxes deeply and is nourished
at at all levels. When a space is built that violates the
laws of nature through random orientation and proportions health,
wealth and happiness are diminished. When built properly bad habits
and thought patterns begin to weaken. A feeling of wellbeing and happiness
is established leading to better decision making-leading to increased happiness.
Everything has an energetic influence. Roads, railways and rivers
are flowing energy and we need to consider their location and
direction as it relates to the home. Water in some locations relative
to the home can support but in a different location it can be an
energetic drain. Slopes on the land are an important aspect of
Vaastu. Some slopes may be considered "sacred" while
others are described in the ancient text with words like "graveyard".
Some slopes attract wealth while some slopes drain wealth.
As you move forward in this process it is good to have some understanding
of your personal Karma and I would encourage everyone to have
a basic reading done with a well qualified Vedic Astrologer or "Jyotishi" to
understand the general challenges and opportunities present in
this life in order to design a house and select a lot that will
be supportive specifically for you. For example, an analysis of
Bill Gates birth chart shows extreme wealth. If he were to live
on a lot with a bad slope for wealth he would not be poor and likely
still be very wealthy however he may run into some obstacles that could
have been avoided.
Support of Nature, in western society, is often referred to as
luck. We really have little understanding of the eternal nature
of an individual
and how actions of the past ripen in any given lifetime to frame
our current experiences. We use the science of Vaastu for the mitigation
of negative influences or Karma.
I
have had a couple readings with Jyotishis. I have never met them in
person and they know nothing
about me other than time, date and location of my birth the reading
were done over the phone. The accuracy is astounding. As for
my profession they all spoke only of building, land development, real
estate
and home design. Interesting that our deepest desires can be
viewed from the perspective of the location of the planets at our time
of birth.
