What does a Vaastu home look like?
The exterior of the home can be of any style. Vaastu is the energetics of the home based on orientation with the cardinal directions, mathematical proportions and room locations that match the quality of energy that naturally occurs when space is enclosed (see What is Vaastu?).
Is this religious?
No. It is an ancient science that is once again being introduced for the benefit of humanity.
What is the cost of a Vaastu home?
If RCON1, Inc builds your home there is no additional cost for Vaastu. It is our intention or business model to provide a superior product (a Vaastu home that will support all aspects of life) at a price that is comparable to any new home in the same market. We may be the only company with this philosophy.
What about out of state or international clients?
There are several options. First we can provide exact dimensioned floor plans to fit the housing needs of any client. A client can then work with a local builder or architect to finalize plans. Typically plans are reviewed and stamped by an engineer. We recommend that be done locally as requirements may vary based on location. We start all Vaastu plans drawn by hand. Once complete, plans may be placed on a CAD program and submitted to an engineer for stamps. Locally we do all this. For design only clients the hand drawn plans that provide all dimensions for exterior and interior wall locations are provided at $1.00 per square foot.
What is the difference between Vastu and Vaastu?
Both words can be used however at the technical level Vastu refers to subtle energy and Vaastu means manifest or energy in an enclosed space. The earth itself can be considered a Vaastu as can the human body. These concepts were very esoteric until the advent of modern physics. This concept relates to Einsteins equation E=MC2 where energy and matter can transmute.
When did Vaastu originate?
It is said to have originated 13,900 B.C. the original architect was named Mayan.
Where has it been?
According to my teacher Dr. Sthapati his "clan" has not taught Vaastu publicly in 10,000 years. Although the knowledge has never been gone completely it has only been kept by a handful of experts taught from father to son. Dr. Sthapati has ancient Vaastu Shastras etched by hand 100's of years ago on palm leaves. The intent was not to hide the knowledge but rather to keep it pure. The Vedic sciences have suffered greatly and one must find a modern expert when exploring this arena.
Why now?
It seems to be a time when the knowledge can be explored and used responsibly and a time where it will be appreciated. There is an unprecedented level of stress individually and throughout humanity. Also it is a time when people are seeking real answers to life. Why are plans drawn by hand?
Although it seems a bit low tech I feel that the creative process is different and better when working in this manner. I'm more connected to the project and the energetics of the home can be perceived more clearly than working on a computer. |
